Minister visits Campus

Minister for Tourism, Culture and Sport, Mary Hanafin T.D., paid an official visit to the National Aquatic Centre on Saturday 1st May on the occassion of the Irish Long Course National Championships.

She was welcomed into the Centre by Authority Chairman, Dan FLinter, and was escorted by staff of the Authority and the Centre throughout her visit. The Minister met with competitors, officials and parents alike from Ireland and overseas. The Chairman and others availed of the opportunity to brief the Minister on the plans for the National Sports Campus and to escort her on a drive-through tour of the site.
